Five easy dump and go crock pot recipes for busy nights



We are all about that slow cooker life in our house. Busy days and busy nights can often mean bad meals from the drive-through. But with our slow cooker and Instant Pot we are able to throw together delicious meals and save a ton of money. Here are five EASY recipes you can try this week.

Honey BBQ chicken thighs. What you’ll need: 1/2 cup soy sauce or coconut aminos1/2 cup ketchup1/4 cup honey2 tbsp minced garlicfour chicken thighs fresh or frozen. Directions: I simply placed my frozen chicken thighs in the crockpot. Mixed together all of the soy sauce, ketchup, honey, and garlic and poured it over the chicken. Then I let cook for 8 hours on low. I paired it with rice and steamed peas. Crock Pot QuicheWhat you’ll need: 12 eggs1 cup shredded cheesesalt and pepper or any seasoning you likeDirections: Grease the bottom of your slow cooker. In a bowl whisk your eggs. Pour the egg mixture into your crockpot. Add in the cheese and seasoning. Stir!Cook on HIGH for 2 hours. I served mine with bread and fruit.

Chicken CurryWhat you’ll need: two cut up chicken breasts (cubed)two sweet potatoes, peeled and cubedthree carrots, cubed2 tbsp ginger pasteminced garlic, you measure that with your heart14 oz coconut milk3 tbsp curry powderDirections: Add chicken, garlic and ginger paste to the slow cooker and stir to coat chicken. Add in vegetables. Sprinkle curry powder over everything. Pour over coconut milk and stir. Cook 6 hours on low.

Meatless chili What you’ll need: 1 can chickpeas1 can corn1 can black beans1 can red beansone onion, dicedone can tomato sauce (14-ounce can)one packet of chili seasoning or you can use this recipeDirections: Dump everything in your slow cooker and stir. Set your slow cooker to low and cook for about 6 hours.

Meatball subsWhat you’ll need: One bag of turkey meatballs (or any other kind. You can also use homemade)One jar tomato sauceHoagy rollsDirections:Dump meatballs in slow cooker.
